They called her with a series of four appointments,the last of which is the surgery. Things seem to be moving very quickly all of a sudden. Now it seems real. Gulp. My mom has cancer.
We'll keep praying. I'm also happy for her that they are getting this done so quickly. It will be good to get this all behind you and a later date would be more time to worry. Hang in there.
I echo what Monica and Melissa said. I am glad that she will get the care and treatment she needs. We (our small group) have all had clear reminders of how fragile and precious life is and mortal we--our bodies-- are. I'll be praying for your mom.
It's so strange how our minds take so long sometimes to catch up with reality.... I will also be praying for you and your mom and the rest of your family. take care
